We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reward professional to be part of a multinational covering 40 countries globally. This role represents the EMEA region with a strong global component related to projects and global alignment and development programmes.
This role could be based in Rotterdam, Paris or Milan.
Total Rewards Lead for EMEA is responsible for compensation, benefits and wellbeing frameworks, programs and policies across the Region. The Total Rewards Lead will proactively support the HR team and will deliver tangible results in support of business objectives.
In the global HR matrix this role will also report to the (global) VP, Total Rewards and Wellbeing and will participate in the design and implementation of global total rewards frameworks, processes, protocols and systems. The Total Rewards Lead’s scope will include pensions, health, disability and life insurance policies, car programs, travel, flexible working and other relevant practices to drive market competitive, innovative and cost-effective solutions for our employees.
The Total Rewards Lead will support the annual salary budget processes providing regional market information and coordinating necessary Works Council communications with local Human Resources.
They will also introduce and manage (on-line) system solutions for executing annual C&B reviews with the goal to strengthen the performance culture.
Partners with internal stakeholders to align regional TR programs to the overall company framework ensuring that TR policies and programs support a performance culture
Coordinate the administration of local incentive programs including coordination of payment and communication of programs to participants. Collaborate with global TR on the design and administration of company-wide incentive programs.
Provide input to the annual salary budgeting process and oversight for the execution of annual salary review for the region coordinating with the global TR function as well as regional HR leadership
Provide oversight for the compliance and administration including contract management and renewal for regional TR policies including pension, health, wellbeing, life and disability insurances, etc.
Collaborate with HR Business Solutions team to support any HR systems and data analytics efforts with regional insight. Identify and obtain appropriate sources of regional benchmark data to effectively analyse the market competitiveness of regional total rewards programs.
Coordinate and lead the job evaluation processes ensuring alignment with overall company frameworks and local market conditions.
Collaborate with internal and external communications resources to ensure TR programs are communicated effectively and in compliance with legal and corporate guidelines.
University Degree required. 5-10 years of experience within Human Resources and in support of Total Rewards programs on a regional basis. Prior experience of effective collaboration in matrix structures within large multi-national companies
- Knowledge of EU and other legal requirements (such as Privacy Laws)
- Experience with Works Councils
- Knowledge of plan design, administration, accounting, and compliance for defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes
- Knowledge of and experience supporting supplemental medical, life and disability, and other wellbeing programs
